How does Vibration Training Work?
The vibrating platform offers the same benefits of an hour-long sweaty gym workout in just 15 minutes with the machine burning the calories for you. Our vibration Machine has been designed to produce therapeutic vibrations from the feet up through your entire body. The vibration plate causes very rapid muscle contractions thirty to fifty times per second that work your muscles continuously. WebMD’s Professor Barbara Resnick PhD, is one hundreds that have recently endorsed our Vibration Exercise as an effective treatment of osteoporosis after a research study. The test group participated in 3 Wholebody Vibration sessions per week, consisting of 6 one-minute bouts of low-frequency vibration, with 1-minute rest between bouts. Our Tri-Planar vibration uses 3 dimensional motion that has been shown to very effective for sports training, rehabilitation, muscle building, increasing bone density and improving flexibility, just to name a few. With Tri-Planar vibration the plate barely moves, just a few millimeters, but penetrates deep into you muscles. You feel a muscle burn very quickly as your muscles are pulsing at very high rates, up to 45 Hz. Tri-Planar vibration ranges from 30 Hz to 45 Hz. Tri-Planar vibration is never used at lower or higher levels than these, as it is unsafe.
No matter what your physical condition, the subconscious stretch reflexes will tighten almost all your muscles at once with vibration exercise. That compares with just 45 per cent of muscle fibres used during conventional training. Traditional training increases muscle strength because your body reacts to the extra resistance created by the weights over and above regular gravity. With Vibration Training your body reacts to acceleration rather than extra weight, which is many times greater than standard training stimuli. And one repeated 30 or 50 times a second. Your body has to adapt even more to overcome this greater load, and so achieve your training targets faster.

The “more is better” principle does not apply to vibration training. You look and feel fitter, but you do not have to train more intensively. | The VibraSlim® should be used similarly to other gym equipment in the sense that everyone will have their own preference on what levels they prefer and what positions they like. |
- Start on the lower settings and get a feel for the vibration machine and the different positions.
- Move your body around (lean back, forward, side to side, bend legs, etc.) and you feel what area is being targeted.
- If you wish to target a certain area use the guide to find the positions that best work that area.
- Feel free to adjust your vibration speed up and down during the different positions.
- Some like to use the pyramid method which is: start low: 8, then go up to: 18, then finish with 12.
- Others like to start low and build up from there: 6 then increase to 10, then up to 15, then finish on 19.
- You will find that some positions are better for you at certain speeds.
- You do not have to have the vibration machine at the highest speeds to get results, you should be comfortable. Just like a treadmill, you don’t have to use it a top speed all the time.
- You may also adjust the intensity of the vibration by moving your feet closer or further apart on the vibration board.
